Johannesburg, Combined Motor Holdings Limited (CMH) announced a reshuffling of its board directors following the resignation of AY Metu and the appointment of H Spencer. The changes come under the terms of a shareholders’ agreement with CMH’s empowerment partner, Thebe Investment Corporation (Pty) Ltd. Thebe, retaining the right to nominate two non-executive directors, has replaced Metu with Spencer, who has been approved as a new non-executive director by the CMH Board. This decision will be presented for shareholder approval at the upcoming annual general meeting in June 2024.
Additionally, the board committee roles have been reallocated: RT Komane will take over Metu's previous position on the audit and risk assessment committee, while H Spencer will assume Komane's former role on the social, ethics, and transformation committee.
