Cyclists to raise funds for poor households affected by COVID-19

A group of 28 volunteers is cycling over 1 300 kilometres from Johannesburg to Cape Town to raise funds for poor households, hard hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Cyclists arrived in Kimberley on Friday and resumed their journey to the Mother City on Sunday morning. The Non-Profit-Organisation, Meals on Wheels Community Services says the pandemic has drastically increased the need for food as families continue to struggle due to job losses.
