According to Namibia Press Agency, the Grootfontein squad traveled to Rehoboth where they faced off against Reho Falcon, a direct competitor for the playoff spot. The northern side emerged victorious with a final score of 40-34, thereby distancing themselves by seven points from their closest rivals in the league standings. Grootfontein's successful outing included five tries—three of which were converted—and three penalty goals, summing up to a total of 40 points. Notable performances came from Jahzeel Marais, Johannes Breedt, and Lodewikus Jacobs who scored the tries, while Uroes Marais added crucial points through conversions and penalties.
