BLOEMFONTEIN — Parkweg police and local community members have successfully located two missing schoolgirls, who were found unharmed on a farm in Jacobsdal this morning, ending a tense search that began earlier this month.
According to South African Police Service, The police, with the help of community tips, tracked down 16-year-old Alicia Jacobs and 15-year-old Bernice Bosch, who had been reported missing from their school in Bloemfontein since August 2, 2024. The girls were discovered hiding on a farm in the district, thanks to diligent work by detectives who followed up on received information. The Parkweg police have expressed their gratitude to the community for their critical role in the safe recovery of the girls, who will be returned to their school in Bloemfontein shortly.
