Mwadhina Gwanembenge Alumni Raise N.dollars 300,000 for School Renovations

SHAKATI - Former students and teachers of Mwadhina Gwanembenge Combined School gathered for a reunion this Friday, successfully raising N.dollars 300,000 to refurbish the school's deteriorating facilities.

According to Namibia Press Agency, the school has a storied history of excellence and has produced many professionals who contribute significantly both in Namibia and internationally. The school, noted for its emphasis on academic, moral, and religious education, has been a cornerstone of the community since its establishment.

Iipumbu highlighted the importance of community involvement in educational initiatives, stating that the responsibility of investing in education should not fall on the government alone but must be a collective effort involving individuals, businesses, and other community members. She encouraged the school management to recognize and protect all forms of support they receive.

School Principal Immanuel Aron expressed his vision for the school's future, aiming to foster an environment that continues to inspire and motivate students. He emphasized the desire to transform the school into a hub of excellence and innovation.

The reunion, themed "Celebrating Our Past, Embracing Our Present, and Investing in the Future of the Namibian Child," served as a platform for former attendees to reconnect with their alma mater and contribute to its ongoing success.
